Ella Watts

Ella Watts (she/her) is a multi-award-winning writer, director, and producer whose body of work is an explosion of radically inclusive storytelling. She is internationally renowned as the "Queen of Audio Fiction'' (The Guardian), and is a passionate advocate for independent podcasting, especially audio drama.

She's the co-creator of Doctor Who: Redacted and the producer and director of Eliza: A Robot Story. She's currently directing multiple serialized audio dramas for Marvel Comics on the app “Marvel Move.” She has written for a variety of beloved podcasts, including independent sitcom Wooden Overcoats and more than half of the first season of Doctor Who: Redacted.
